These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TaskArc platform ("Service") provided by TaskArc ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a legally binding contract to use TaskArc. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements. TaskArc is intended for business use by independent contractors, tradespeople, and small businesses.

Plans
TaskArc offers a free tier and paid plans (Pro at $19/month and Team at $49/month). Features available on each plan are described on our pricing page and may change with notice.
Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Payments are processed by Stripe. You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account Settings page. Your plan will remain active until the end of the current billing period. We do not prorate partial months.
Refunds
Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us within 14 days at billing@taskarc.app and we will review your case.
Price changes
We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' advance notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes your acceptance of the new price.
You retain full ownership of all content and data you enter into TaskArc, including client records, jobs, quotes, invoices, and expenses. You grant us a limited license to store and process this data solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We will never sell your data or use it for purposes unrelated to operating TaskArc.
The TaskArc platform, including its design, code, trademarks, and content (excluding your data), is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks or branding without prior written consent.
We aim to keep TaskArc available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may take the Service offline for maintenance, upgrades, or emergency fixes. We are not liable for any losses resulting from downtime or service interruptions.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or that any errors will be corrected.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TaskArc and its affiliates, officers, and employees will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — arising from your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TaskArc and its affiliates from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, non-payment, or actions that harm other users or the platform. You may delete your account at any time via Settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Data deletion is governed by our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the app at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
TaskArc is a business management tool designed to help independent contractors organize their work, track income and expenses, and generate invoices and reports. TaskArc is not a licensed accounting service, tax preparation service, or financial advisory service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved in the courts of Travis County, Texas.
